As delivery architects we are delighted to progress the construction of this bold new 157 bedroom Maldron hotel on Paul Street in the heart of Shoreditch, London.
Designed to reflect the urban context with various steps in heights and angled articulation of the facade, it enables the new building to bring a cohesion to the surrounding area. Jestico & Whiles original design intent was to reference the historical craft and joinery of the area in a bespoke GRC facade. Careful consideration has been given to ensure the references of the joinery details and timber graining are delivered, giving the hotel its own strong individual identity in a unique part of London.
